The alias MC Igee is my artist name! MC meaning Master of Ceremony, a common title of entertainers and rappers.

A few facts about my rapping/entertaining career:

  • Started rappin’ in 1990 writing a poem (rap) to overcome lovesickness
  • Writing and performing own lyrics in English, French, Swiss Dialect and German
  • Coming from Switzerland! Not Sweden! Geneva, Zurich and Biel/Bienne (=Bienne City, BNCT) are rather Swiss cities than Swedish ones.
  • Grew into the Old School mentality of the non-violent, non-commercial and very open-minded culture of HipHop. Rap is an art of the spoken word and poetry, no musical style is going to jail Rap (I rap on all styles I like!)
  • Participating in various projects (e.g. Teh’Bak Nation, Langusta Entertainment, remusic, various DJ’s and event presentations)

I therefore love rappin’ and writing lyrics; for projects I participate in or my own prodcutions and pleasure.

Recently I tried to number stage appearances, MC-ing acts and productions and estimated it to something around 250 performances from 1990 to that day.
